LAKELAND HOUSING AUTHORITY TO OPEN GENERAL PUBLIC HOUSING WAITING LIST
LAKELAND, Fla. — The Lakeland Housing Authority (LHA) will open its General Public Housing Waiting List on Monday, August 31, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. The waiting list will remain open through Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.
The waiting list covers one-, two-, and three-bedroom public housing units. All applications must be completed electronically through the LHA application portal:
myportal.lakelandhousing.org
After registering, applicants will be directed to the main portal page, where they can select the appropriate open waiting list.
Income eligibility
A household’s annual gross income may not exceed the following limits:
• 1 person: $48,900
• 2 people: $55,900
• 3 people: $62,900
• 4 people: $69,850
• 5 people: $75,450
• 6 people: $81,050
• 7 people: $86,650
• 8 people: $92,250
Occupancy standards
• 1 bedroom: 1–2 people
• 2 bedrooms: 2–4 people
• 3 bedrooms: 3–6 people
