Family Self Sufficiency (Fss) Coordinator

Status: Full Time, Bi-weekly Salary

The Family Self-Sufficiency Coordinator will report to the Senior Program Manager and will be responsible for coordinating all Family Self Sufficiency activities.

Responsabilities:

More specifically, job duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with program partners, residents, Section 8 staff, and others associated with Family Self Sufficiency
  • Coordinates the FSS caseload to include re-certifications, interim changes, unit transfers, inspections, and rent reasonableness preparation
  • Manages the FSS process including planning, tracking, scheduling, and reporting
  • Conducts meetings with residents and others to share information, provide training, & resolve issues
  • Creates, maintains, and updates FSS client files in a timely and proper manner
  • Maintains records of assistance, programs, and activities offered and utilized
  • Ensures FSS escrow accounts are maintained to HUD regulations
  • Ensures that data in the PIC system is accurate to ensure SEMAP scoring goals are met
  • Participates in grant writing
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in social services or related field required
  • 5-7 years experience in social services
  • FSS Certification required within six (6) months of hire

Compensations:

From: $1,461.54
To: $1,461.54

Notes:

Full-Time Salaried (Monday through Friday) (This is a grant funded position and it is limit to one year, if the grant is renewed then the employment contract will be extended for the duration of the grant)
