Located on the south side of Lake Hunter in the Dixieland Historic Neighborhood Magnolia Pointe (Lakeview Gardens), was a public housing community of 44 units. As part of the HOPE VI activities units are being renovated to include central heat and air, private entrances, security systems, internet access, washer and dryer connections and other amenities as the property is offered as affordable condominium homeownership units. Relocation of residents from this property occurred in 2000. The first new units are projected for occupancy in mid-2001.
